The apostrophe indicates Mercy has the Victory.

Elma Marie Poe’s (aka “Ree”) dying wish was for a million dollars from her estate to go towards “Christian Education.” It was later embezzled through a long run of deception by a man named Berry Colvin who secretly lost it all in failed business ventures. Later Berry spilled the beans, and then claimed “dementia.” Jerry Poe, the eldest son and executor of Ree’s estate had fulfilled Ree’s wish by selling off properties and placing a million dollars into a trust specifically for Christian Education, but it was Berry who was on the board of trustees. Jerry Poe forgave Berry who had asked for forgiveness but never repaid the trust. Jerry’s grandson Branden Edward Shumate is now on a mission to replenish the fund for same purpose, which is what this is all about, a driving force behind the formal 501 (C)(3) nonprofit organization (in progress) of Mercy’s Victory.
